Mental health starts when you take your first step!
About Quiet Rise Counseling
Quiet Rise Counseling was founded on the belief that therapy can be more than traditional talk therapy. Tomas’ path into the mental health field began with his time in the Army, where he experienced firsthand how common it is to push through, hold everything in, and stay focused on the mission without ever pausing to check in with yourself. That mindset creates discipline and resilience, but it can also make people feel like they have to carry everything alone..
Through his own journey, Tomas recognized how often people struggle quietly, not because they lack strength, but because they are used to relying solely on themselves. This realization led him into counseling, with a commitment to creating a space where people do not have to choose between strength and support.
The name Quiet Rise reflects this philosophy. Many people suffer in silence, but they also grow in silence. Growth is not always loud, dramatic, or visible from the outside. It often begins internally, in quieter moments of reflection, courage, and self-awareness. The rise happens gradually as someone leans into their strengths and allows themselves to be supported.
Quiet Rise Counseling is built around the idea that healing does not have to look one way. Therapy can happen through conversation, but it can also be found in movement, grounding experiences, time in nature, or meaningful activities that help people reconnect with themselves. The work is about meeting clients where they are and honoring who they are.
Mental health is not only about what is going wrong. It is also about a person’s resilience and their ability to grow through challenge. Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. It is a reflection of strength and a willingness to rise with support.
Quiet Rise Counseling exists to help individuals tap into the strength they already carry and grow in a way that feels authentic to them
